Hold Me Close: Revolutionary Faith Book is a book I found recently doing research on one of my great grandfathers. It is the story of Louis Lestarjette who has just arrived from France in 1772. He arrives in pre revolution Charles Town, South Carolina and slowly learns of the building animosity brewing between Loyalists and Sons of Liberty. Add to this he has met a young woman that he just can't take his eyes off of and you have a great story.
The fact that these two are my 4x great grandparents makes it extra special to me. I feel like I am a fly on the wall getting to know them. I highly recommend this book.
